Thank you for visiting my website. I’m Corey Pollard, the managing partner of Jenkins Block & Associates‘ Richmond office.

My Background

 

I was born and raised in Newport News, Virginia, where I grew up in a construction family. My father and brother still own a welding company. 

 

I graduated from Menchville High School, where I was a Virginia High School League (VHSL) State Champion in Swimming. 

 

I earned my Bachelor’s Degree with Honors from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. While in college, I joined the Sigma Alpha Epsilon (SAE) fraternity. 

 

Slowly moving up Interstate-64, I obtained my Juris Doctorate (J.D.) with Honors from the University of Richmond School of Law. While in law school, I was a member of the Richmond Journal of Law of and the Public Interest and the Client Counseling and Negotiation Board. 

 

Before joining Jenkins Block & Associates, I worked for an insurance defense firm. In that role, I gained experience and training about the tactics used by some of the country’s largest employers and insurance carriers. Now I use that knowledge to help those who have suffered injuries at work or in a motor vehicle collision get every dollar they deserve.

I get it. Family is important.

 

My wife, Leigh, is a Human Resources Business Partner who provides “real world” advice and insight on employment and labor law matters. 

 

We have two children – Knox and Rivers – that keep us busy. We are members of Bon Air Baptist Church. 

 

In my spare time, I hang out with family and friends, go to the beach, and play pickup basketball, golf, and poker. When I’m in the mood for punishment, I watch my favorite football team, the Washington Redskins.
